2018 Black & Gold Scholarship Banquet

The Black and Gold Scholarship Banquet is a common staple among Alpha Phi Alpha chapter's all across the globe. They represent an opportunity to gather brothers, families, friends, colleagues & community partners for an elegant evening of dinner and entertainment for the expressed purpose of raising funds to support community-wide programming and scholarship monies for youth. 

In the 2017 fraternal year alone, the brothers of the Iota Psi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. raised and contributed over $10,000 in charitable giving, contributed in excess of 36 hour of community service per month, had a member from our ranks elevated to Chairman of the Board for the New Mexico March of Dimes while also hosting two deployments of the Alpha Mentoring Program (AMP) at two seprate Albuquerque Highschool. Incidentally, the Alpha Mentoring Program (AMP) students and their families will be an integral portion of this year's Black and Gold Banquet. In addition, special recognition will also be given to outstanding corporate partners and sponsors.
